Did you know that a majority of lenders and credit providers have mis-calculated the PPI redress payment paid out to claimants?
Customers who were overcharged on their mortgages, loans and other credit agreements have received refunds for their PPI premiums. These refunds, under guidelines from the FCA were meant to have returned the customer to the financial position they would have been in, had they never taken out the policy. A lot of lenders failed to refund further charges in the form of fees and interest and therefore failed to return the customer to their original position.
