The Candidate
A demonstrable interest in criminal law is required. It is desirable that candidates have completed the LPC or BPTC, or are preparing to commence the SQE. Candidates must possess a strong academic background, professional interpersonal skills, and preferably previous experience within a legal environment.
The Role
The role involves assisting with high-profile and complex litigation, providing an opportunity to develop skills in managing a diverse criminal caseload. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting solicitors with the preparation of casework.
- Addressing complex and novel legal issues.
- Liaising with Counsel, courts, witnesses, and other third parties.
- Taking client instructions and progressing cases through the legal process.
Requirements & Skills

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to conduct thorough legal research.
- Initiative and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Accuracy under pressure and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.

- A flexible approach to assist with other duties as required.
