When the victim fled the vehicle, the gunman allegedly pursued him on foot, re-loaded the weapon, and discharged it again, striking the victim. A fourth shot was reportedly fired before the attackers fled. The victim required emergency surgery for gunshot wounds. The Crown contends this was a deliberate, pre-meditated attempt to kill.
