Being Concerned in Supply of Class A

Understand Your Situation

This charge is often used when you are not caught with drugs, but are linked to the operation by phone or money. It is a broad charge we know how to fight.

Challenging 'Concerned In' Charges

You don't need to touch a drug to be charged with 'Being Concerned in Supply'. Driving a car, topping up a phone, or letting someone use your flat can be enough for the police to charge you. However, the prosecution must prove you had *knowledge* of the supply and actively *participated*.

We focus on that knowledge. If you drove a friend without knowing they were dealing, or if you lent your phone innocently, you are not guilty. We carefully dissect the text messages and financial trails to show your lack of criminal intent or involvement in the enterprise.

Innocent involvement isn't a crime. We fight to prove your innocence.

Plan Your Defence

The Legal Threshold

The offence falls under *Section 4(3)(b) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971*. It covers any conduct which is preparatory to, or in furtherance of, the supply of a controlled drug.

Mere suspicion is not enough. We force the prosecution to provide concrete evidence of your specific role. We often successfully argue that your involvement was unwitting or so peripheral that it does not meet the legal threshold for 'being concerned' in the criminal sense.

Legal Aid Availability

For many criminal matters, from police station interviews to Crown Court trials, public funding (Legal Aid) may be available to cover your legal costs.

Eligibility is determined by the seriousness of the case and, in some instances, a means assessment. Our team will conduct an immediate, confidential assessment of your eligibility to ensure that financial constraints do not stand in the way of a robust defence.
